Lab Safety Training
To access safety training log in here then go to Training Calendar, then scroll down to choose the “Laboratory Safety/Biosafety/Bloodborne Pathogens/Plants Refresher”. You should answer yes to the Biosafety/Bloodborne Pathogen portion question and no to the plants question. List me as your supervisor. Thanks!
IACUC
Now that we are starting work under the IACUC for Adenovirus swabbing, there are several online trainings and forms that lab members need to fill out. Talk to Anthony first if you have not been added to the lab GitHub, then do the steps specified here.
Introductory Modules
EMBL-EBI (European Molecular Biology Laboratory – European Bioinformatics Institute) has created a fantastic introductory course about phylogenetics. It takes only about an hour to do and will give anyone new to the field a nice overview of important concepts! It can be found here.
